Hello! My name is Sophie and I'm a sophomore double majoring in Astrophysics and Applied Mathematics at UC Berkeley. I'm from Northern Virginia (near Washington D.C.), and when I'm not studying physics, I love to go birdwatching, play violin, paint, and read! I'm very passionate about science and math, and I'm drawn to collaborative atmospheres, whether it's teaching elementary schoolers to use microscopes or working through a problem set with my peers. My goal is to learn as much as I can in everything I do, and hopefully go on to graduate school after my time at Berkeley. I also hope to become involved with research soon!​
